Using a forwarding address is often ineffective or slow, some letters never even arrive at the new address. I’d had writers block for so long that I felt like all the things I wanted to write about, The thoughts I’ve had, went to the wrong address & although it took them years to arrive, they’re here. I waited for the words but to be honest, I almost lost hope they’d come back. In the end, they found me, this time on a different shore and 3 years later. Another new address, much different than any I’ve had before and even though my last address is 5,000 miles away, they continued to turn up like clockwork. I feel lucky, I believe this time the letters are here to stay.
